Bents Garden & Home opened its 2026 Christmas season at its Warrington-area destination on October 7. The launch brought together Mayor of Warrington Councillor Sagheer Zaman, managing director Matthew Bent and customers to see the retailer's new festive displays and experiences.
The displays were created by Bents' in-house team after months of planning. The opening also begins the run-up to the family-owned retailer's 90th anniversary in 2027. Bents' seasonal programme includes Christmas shopping, food and family events, with a winter light trail among the attractions planned for the 2026 season.
Gardenforum reported the launch in “Bents warms up for 90th celebrations with Christmas Wonderland,” published October 7, 2026. Bents' own events page lists its Christmas workshops and The Magic Lamp in the Hidden Garden light trail for the season.
The unveiling shows how garden centres use Christmas displays as an in-person destination, pairing visual merchandising with activities and seasonal shopping. Bents says more information about its seasonal programme is available through its events listings.
