Cheekwood’s 2026 Holiday LIGHTS Brings French-Inspired Décor and More Than One Million Lights

Cheekwood Estate & Gardens plans to combine a large outdoor light display with a French-inspired holiday transformation of its historic mansion for the 2026 season. The Nashville attraction says Holiday LIGHTS will run from November 20, 2026, through January 3, 2027.

Former White House Chief Floral Designer Laura Dowling is leading the mansion décor concept, titled Un Noël Enchanté (“An Enchanted Noel”), with guest artistic advisor Mauricio Clavero Kozlowski. Outside, the one-mile garden route will include more than one million lights, the returning 28-foot Pixel Pine tree and the 600 linear feet of color in the Sparkling Serpentine installation. Cheekwood also plans a new “North Pole Butterfly Garden” theme for its TRAINS! exhibit.

A French-inspired mansion and illuminated gardens

The mansion concept draws on French decorative arts and hospitality, with rooms styled around settings such as a country château, Versailles-inspired spaces and an orangerie. The garden display and historic-house décor together form the 2026 edition of Cheekwood’s annual holiday program.
