Cape May’s Congress Hall has opened its search for a Christmas tree to anchor the resort’s 2026 Winter Wonderland. Families within a two-hour drive of Cape May, New Jersey, may submit a large evergreen for consideration through October 31.
If selected, the tree will be cut and transported from the donor’s property at no charge, then placed on Congress Hall’s Grand Lawn and decorated with 5,000 lights. The family that donates the tree will receive an overnight stay and other hospitality during the resort’s December 4 tree-lighting event.
The tree will be the centerpiece of the resort’s seasonal Winter Wonderland, scheduled for November 27 through December 31, 2026. The annual display combines holiday decorations with a vendor village and family activities.
