The City of Cullman, Alabama, is preparing its 2026 Festival of Trees, a community display featuring Christmas trees decorated by students from local public and private schools and the Cullman County Public Library.
In a city update posted Oct. 20, the Tree Commission said participating groups are expected to decorate their trees on Dec. 2–3, with judging scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 3. The opening ceremony is planned for 5 p.m. that day. The trees will then be displayed free to the public in the foyer of the Cullman Wellness & Aquatics Center from Dec. 4 through Dec. 27, during the center’s regular operating hours.
The commission also discussed coordination for the display, including help from local Boy Scouts with setup and takedown. The city says the exhibit is free and open to visitors while the facility is operating.
