The Woodlands Township has named Entergy Texas presenting sponsor of its annual Holiday on The Waterway light experience. Beginning with the 2026–27 season, the free attraction will be branded “Holiday on The Waterway – Powered by Entergy.”

The self-guided experience features more than one million holiday lights along The Woodlands Waterway and will remain free to the public. Entergy Texas will also support the Township’s annual Lighting of the Doves celebration.
The Township reported that the main event corridor recorded more than 209,000 pathway trips during the 2025–26 season, nearly 74% more than the previous year. Those figures describe last season; the Township has not yet announced a detailed schedule for 2026–27.
