Norwich City Council has named local creator JaackMaate, whose real name is Jack Dean, and his Happy Hour podcast co-hosts Stevie White and Robbie Knox as the guests who will switch on the city's Christmas lights on November 19, 2026.
The council says the annual event will begin with entertainment at 5:30 p.m. outside City Hall, with the lights switched on at 7 p.m. Music, comedy, dancing and the annual snowball throw are planned. The council says the trio had expressed a wish to take part in the ceremony, prompting the Lord Mayor to invite them.
