Stockport's 2026 Spectacular Sunday will conclude with a Christmas lights switch-on at 4:45 p.m. on November 15, according to a report published October 19 by Stockport Today. The free town-centre event is scheduled to run from noon to 5 p.m.
The programme is expected to include more than 200 performers and over 50 free shows across several town-centre locations. A parade featuring more than 100 drummers will lead into the lights finale. Acts named so far include a giant Snow Lion, a circus show and the returning Miniscule of Sound.
